The idea of Pop a Plum came when my firstborn daughter Marta was just a few months old. I'd put on her little head my own old strawberry hat that a friend of my grandmother's had gifted me over 30 years ago - and I'd never had so many strangers stop me on the street to ask about my baby's hat. Something about that little strawberry hat just made people stop, smile and talk.

It got me thinking. This Swedish heritage formed in a tiny hat has been making people smiling for decades. What if i bring it back, and make it available for more families across Europe. Premium quality, hand-knitted feeling, and in the best materials for tiny little heads.

Pop a Plum was born. Made in Portugal, in 100% fine merino wool or 100% organic cotton. Not mass produced. Not rushed. Just a genuinely beautiful hat, rooted in a memory I wanted to share with the world.
